A companion car to our 2002 (6-52287) MX Missile car, the 2006 car (6-52431) has a gray roof. The roof is color matched to the 6-26876 (#6544) Missile Firing Trail Car (available separately from your Lionel dealer and found on page 96 of the Lionel 2006 Book One Catalog). Together with either or both of those cars, you have an impressive grouping capable of destroying the most formidable of targets. The inspiration for this car was an actual cold war era car built for the United States Air Force Strategic Air Command.
This car is being offered in Lionel 'O' gauge. It is manufactured by Lionel Trains. This highly animated operating car features: Remote controlled opening roof and missile launching, die cast metal sprung trucks, operating knuckle couplers at each end, brake wheel and ladders.
